ATLANTA, GA – Today, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) State PAC announced its support for Rep. Scott Hilton (HD-48), Rep. Deborah Silcox (HD-53), Rep. Matt Reeves (HD-99), Rep. Sandy Donatucci (HD-105) and Trey Sheppard (HD-128) for election to the Georgia House of Representatives.
AFP State PAC Senior Advisor Tony West released the following statement:
“Georgia’s state legislature needs champions that will reduce red tape, expand educational opportunities like access to the Georgia Promise Scholarship, and lower tax burdens. Throughout his time in the state legislature, Hilton has championed regulatory reform and a friendly environment for job creators. He is also a leader on education, having carried several education bills as a member of the House Education Committee.
Rep. Deborah Silcox (HD-53)
Rep. Silcox has consistently supported tax relief for hardworking Georgians and has striven to offer parents more educational options for their children. Rep. Silcox has also contributed to healthcare reform efforts, like certificate of need.
Rep. Matt Reeves (HD-99)
Rep. Reeves is a trusted leader on pocketbook issues, consistently supporting reductions in property and income taxes. He is also a strong voice in the regulatory reform space, including as the lead sponsor for the Georgia Bureaucratic Deference Elimination Act.
Rep. Sandy Donatucci (HD-105)
Rep. Donatucci has proven herself as an education freedom champion, supporting increased access to the Georgia Promise Scholarship. She is also a strong voice on healthcare reforms like voluntary portable benefits. Additionally, Rep. Donatucci was also a sponsor of the Georgia Bureaucratic Deference Elimination Act.
Trey Sheppard (HD-128)
Trey Sheppard has the potential to be a strong voice in the Georgia House of Representatives. He supports empowering parents through the Georgia Promise Scholarship and reducing regulations throughout government. He also will support the continued lowering of the state income tax.
